Margaret S. Neubauer, 103, of Fullerton, Whitehall, died Saturday January 7th, 2012 at her residence in Whitehall Manor. Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late John and Susanna (Pudleiner) Neubauer.

Margaret was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Catasauqua. She worked for many years for Cand’s Fabric Textile Company until she retired in 1975. Margaret was a lifetime member of the Fullerton Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary serving as chaplain for 35 years. She was a member of the Fullerton American Legion Auxiliary serving as chaplain.

Surviving are her nieces Marilyn L. (Neff) Smith and husband Richard K. and Judy Neff both of Slatington; grand nephew Richard A.D. Smith and grand niece Lisa L. Smith Kuntz; great grand nieces Mandy A. Smith and Kelsey A. Kuntz and great grand nephew Matthew R. Smith. She was preceded in death by a sister Helen A. Neubauer Neff; brothers Harry J., Kenneth C. and William J. Neubauer.

A graveside service will be held at 11am Wednesday January 11th, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery, Whitehall. The Rev. Gary L. Walbert will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church c/o of Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032.
