Mildred E. (Lazarus) Ward, 76, of Allentown, formerly of Catasauqua, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital with her loving family at her side. Born in Ballietsville, January 1, 1936, Millie was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Esther M. (Handwerk) Lazarus. Millie loved gardening, reading books, watching movies, baking and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and loved watching sports. She was employed for nearly 40 years until retirement at S. Levine and Sons.

Survivors: Son, Christopher, husband of Suzette; daughter, Susan, wife of Thomas Ritter; daughter-in-law, Kim Quier-Ward; sisters, Helen Mack, Esther Kimble, and Janice Pabon; grandchildren, Nathan, Samantha, Nicholas, Stephen, Belinda, Brenna, and Brendon; great granddaughter, Mia; predeceased by a son, Matthew; sisters, Ruth Rabenold and Arlene Burt.

Service: A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA, 18032.
