Obituary for Mary A. Marakovits
Mary A. Marakovits, formerly of Coplay, died Saturday July 8th, 2017 at her residence. Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary R. (Csencits) Marakovits.
Mary was a lifetime member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Coplay where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and the Funeral Choir. She worked for many years as a Quiller for area textile mills. Mary also volunteered for the Lehigh County Meals on Wheels and the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital.
Surviving are friends Rita and Thomas Doherty.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Tuesday July 11th, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 4 S. 5th St. Coplay, PA 18037. There will be a calling period from 10:30 – 11am Tuesday at the church.
