Obituary for Ruth I. Oswald
Ruth A. Oswald, 103 years, of Allentown, died with her family by her side Sunday March 5th, 2017. She was the wife of the late John Randolph “Randy” Oswald. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Ortt) Steiger.
Ruth was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua for many years. She worked for the former Hess’s Department Store in Allentown. Ruth also volunteered at Lehigh Valley Hospital, formerly Allentown General, and loved to travel.
Surviving are her daughter Jane Larson and husband Roger and son David Oswald and wife Nora; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 2nd & Pine Sts, Catasauqua, PA 18032.
