Obituary for Xiu-Fang Ling
Xiu-Fang Ling, 87 years, of Catasauqua, formerly of the Peoples Republic of China, died Thursday March 16th, 2017. She was the wife of Hui-Xiang Pan of Catasauqua and would have celebrated 64 years of marriage together this August. Born in Zheng Jiang, China, she was a daughter of the late Jun-Shing Ling and Zhang-Shi Ling.
Xiu-Fang was a member of the Lehigh Valley Chinese Christian Church in Whitehall where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. While living in China, she retired as a very accomplished elementary school teacher attaining the highest level of achievement.
Surviving with her husband are her daughters Tian-Li Pan, Ping-Ping Pan both of China and Ming-Ming Molony and husband David of Catasauqua; 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm Sunday March 19th, 2017 at the Lehigh Valley Chinese Christian Church, 1419 Overlook Road, Whitehall, PA 18052. There will be a calling period at the church on Sunday from 2-3pm. Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to the church.
