Obituary for Albert B. Bretz, Jr.
Albert B. Bretz, Jr., 83, of Whitehall, passed away May 1, 2016 at home. He was married to Theresa M. (Sodl) Bretz for 59 years. Born in Whitehall, he was the son of the late Albert Sr. and Julia (Rechtor)Bretz. He retired as a technician from AT&T Microelectronics, Allentown after 40 years of service. A Korean War veteran, he served as a corporal in the army. He was a member of St. Peter R.C. Church, Coplay. Survivors: Wife; daughters, Marita wife of Richard Rabenold of Coplay, Donna wife of Steven Volkert of Lehighton; grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Amanda, Sierra; sister, Julia Paul of Slatington. He was predeceased by brothers, Paul, James, Edward. Services: Mass, 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, St. Peter R.C. Church, 4 S. 5th St., Coplay. No Calling Hours. Interment, parish cemetery, Whitehall. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to the church c/o Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037.
