Obituaries
Albert worked as a machinist with Bonney Forge for many years before retiring. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Catasauqua and served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. Albert loved to work on cars and enjoyed fishing.
Surviving with his wife is daughter Dr. Sandra Miller and her husband David, son Albert A. Check, sisters Margaret Sperlbaum, Caroline Rennig and nieces and nephews. Albert was preceded in death by his brothers Emil and Michael.
Graveside services will be 11:00am Friday July 24 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Circle Drive and Poplar Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. His calling period will be 10:30 am until 11:00am in the cemetery. The Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given in his name payable to the Wounded Warrior Project 301 Grant Street Suite 900 Pittsburgh, Pa. 15219.
