Obituary for Alean "Abby" A. McCloskey
Alean A. “Abby” McCloskey, 76 years, of Northampton, passed away on Monday, July 30th, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Joseph B. “Buck” and Elsie A. (Bartholomew) McCloskey.
Abby worked as a data entry clerk for the former Daytimers for 16 years before retiring. Prior to that she worked for General Electric.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, a friend Sally Fink of Northampton, and 3 godchildren, Wendy Walls, Gregory Fink, and Jason Stanton. She was predeceased by sisters Miriam Rector, June Hughes, Elsie Mae Stiles and brothers Edward and Scott.
Graveside services will be today August 1st, 2018 at 11am at St. John Union Cemetery in Mickley, MacArthur & Eberhart Road, Whitehall, PA 18052. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, PA 18032 is handling arrangements.
