Obituary for Althea H. Heckenberger
Althea H. Heckenberger, 95 years of Cedarbrook Fountain Hill formerly of Catasauqua died Monday August 30, 2010 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the widow of the late John J. Heckenberger. Born in Catasauqua she was the daughter of the late Calvin H. and Ada H. (Kichline) Schlicher. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her daughter Delores wife of Roy Brunell of Allentown, son Dr. Gary J. husband of Debbie Heckenberger of Lower Nazareth, grandchildren Christopher Pfeiffer, Matthew, Michael and Kara Heckenberger. She was preceded in death by her husband, six sisters and four brothers. Althea was a long time member of Salem United Church of Christ of Catasauqua where she was a former member of their Women’s Fellowship. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday September 4th in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 10:00am until 11:00am Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made payable to the church.
