Obituary for Ann D. Oswald
Ann D. Oswald, 94, of North Catasauqua died Thursday July 4th, 2013 at her home. She was the wife of the late Glen R. Oswald. Born in West Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Magdalena (Herman) McNally. Ann was a long time member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church in North Catasauqua where she was a member of their Altar and Rosary Society. She worked at Western Electric for 22 years as an inspector before retiring in 1982. She is survived by her daughters Louise Oswald with whom she resided and Loretta Hitz and husband Gary of Burke, VA; brother Thomas and wife Mary Ellen of Lansdale; grandchildren Lauren Hitz and Brent and wife Heather Hitz and niece Jeanne and William Lindquist of Schnecksville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Monday July 8th at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church, 1001 2nd St. N. Catasauqua, 18032. Her viewing will be from 9:30-10:30am at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032. A reception will be held at St. Andrew’s Jednota, 1223 5th St. N. Catasauqua, following the burial service at Calvary Cemetery in N. Catasauqua.
