Obituary for Anna E. Bright
Anna E. Bright, 98, formerly of Northampton, passed away on August 21, 2021, at ManorCare- West Allen. She was the beloved wife of the late Stewart R. Bright for 73 years before his passing in 2019. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Somogyi) Spaits.
Anna worked as a sewer at D&D Shirt Co. for over 34 years before her retirement. She was a faithful member of Queenship of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Northampton. She was a true lover of cats and family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her four-legged companions.
She is survived by sons, Dennis Bright and wife, Carol of Northampton, and Robert Bright and wife Carolynn of Northampton. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Penunzi & many nieces, and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made out to Queenship of Mary Church c/o the funeral home. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., Coplay, is entrusted with arrangements.
