Obituary for Anna Ifkovits
Anna Ifkovits, 88, formerly of Northampton and Coplay, was called to Jesus on September 15, 2016. She was married to the late John P. "Ifky" Ifkovits for 54 years. Born in Whitehall, growing up in Austria, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Guttman) Nikischer. She enjoyed dancing and knitting. She enjoyed dancing and knitting. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a member of the Friendly Fifties of St. John's Northampton. Survivors: children, Dr. John and wife Judi of Bethlehem, Joann wife of Jeff Lehr of Virginia Beach, James and companion Shari Haney of Catasauqua, Joseph and wife Alicia of Laurys Station, Julie of Newnan, GA; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and the birth of another great-grandchild is coming shortly. Services: Viewing from 9-10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 20, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., St. Peter Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
