Obituary for Anna M. Kollar

Anna M. Kollar, 94 years, of Whitehall Township, passed away on Saturday March 18, 2017. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Kollar. Born in Egypt, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Gussie) Solderitch.

She was employed by the former Two Guys and the former Hess’s Distribution Center, both in Whitehall. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Coplay and the Altar and Rosary Society at the church.

She enjoyed playing pinochle and bingo.

Survivors include a nephew Robert Solderitch of Whitehall, sisters Irene Pammer of Egypt and Margaret Bretz of Slatington, as well as other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Thursday March 23, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 4 S. 5th St. Coplay, PA 18037. A calling hour will be held from 9-10am Thursday at BRUBAKER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 327 CHESTNUT ST. COPLAY, PA 18037, formerly Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the church or to The Center for Animal Health & Welfare 1165 Island Park Rd. Easton, PA 18042.
