Obituary for Anna M. Yudt
Anna M. Yudt, 96, formerly of Coplay, passed away on March 7, 2021, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Allentown. She was the beloved wife of the late Roland F. Yudt, Sr. for 54 years before his passing in May of 2001. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Spirk) Honsel.
Anna was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Coplay where she enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. She also enjoyed sharing her gift of song with the German choir of the Coplay Saengerbund. She was known to be a talented cook and loved to bake. Above all, she was a devoted mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Anna is lovingly remembered and survived by her two children, Roland Yudt, Jr., and wife, Gail of Coplay and Donna Merkel and Partner, Rick Moclock of Coplay; nine grandchildren, Donna, Sherry, Mark, Sheila, Gregory, Jr., Cory, Sarah, Amanda, and David; twelve great-grandchildren; three siblings, William Honsel of Coplay, James Honsel of Northampton, and Margaret Hollenbach of Sellersville. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Gregory, Sr. and David; grandson, Matthew; great-granddaughter, Nikiya; four sisters, and two brothers.
