Obituary for Anna Mae Krupa
Anne “Anna Mae” Krupa, 96 years, died Saturday December 15th, 2018 in Allentown, PA, wife of the late Frank Krupa. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Barbara (Diaczun) Pierok.
Anne was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Northampton, PA and a former member of St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bethlehem, PA and of the Women’s Auxiliary of St. Catherine of Sienna, now the Cathedral Church of Allentown, PA. She was a graduate of Bethlehem Business School and worked as a secretary for the Bethlehem Steel. She enjoyed music/concerts, reading, walking, swimming, knitting/sewing, dancing, and tennis. Anne loved working in the garden (especially flowers), her family (especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren) and her cats.
Anne is survived by her children, son Theodore “Ted” Krupa, daughters Barbara Krupa Woodward and husband David, Sandra K. Herr and husband Jeffrey, Gloria Krupa and husband Craig Smith, grandchildren Guy and Charlie Woodward, Matthew Herr and wife Cassie, Laura Piszczek and husband Dariusz, and Paul Herr; great grandchildren Emmalyn, Robert and Karolina and four 'grandkitties.' She was preceded in death by sisters, Jennie and Tessie, and brother, Walter.
Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00AM on Friday December 21st, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1343 Newport Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. There will be a viewing from 8:30-9:30AM on Friday at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
