Obituaries
Anna Marie Becker, 84, formally of Coplay, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2024, at Scenic View in Palmerton. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Frank C. and Teresa (Groller) Hafner.
She was the loving wife of Glennon W. Becker with whom she shared 65 years of marriage this past August 31st. Anna was a 1957 graduate of Central Catholic in Allentown. She was employed at Western Electric, retiring in 2002 after 39 years of employment.
She was a longtime member of St. Peter’s R.C. Church in Coplay where she helped making pierogis and sang in the choir. She was on the committee of helpers who made hoagies at the American Club where she was a lifelong member . Above all, Anna loved her family and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Glennon; daughters, Linda Seifert and husband James and Michele Wydock and husband Richard; grandchildren; Amy Miller, Ryan Seifert and Meghan Seifert, great-grandchildren, Sophie, and Felicity. She was predeceased by her siblings; brother Frank C. Hafner and sister, Teresa Lacey.
There will be a visitation on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 9-10 a.m. at St. Peter’s R.C. Church 4 S. 5th St. Coplay, PA. 18037 with a mass of Christian burial officiated by Monsignor James to follow at 10:00 am. Interment to immediately follow at the church cemetery in Coplay.
