Obituary for Anna Mary Deiter
Anna Mary Deiter, 92, formerly of Coplay, passed away on December 15, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. Born November 3, 1931, in Coplay, PA. to the late Ludwig and Rose (Grohotolski) Stipkovits.
She was the wife of the late Carl L. Deiter with whom she shared 62 years of marriage prior to his passing in May of 2015.
Anna was a long-time member of St. Peter’s R.C. Church as well as a member of the Rosary Society and of the Coplay Senior Citizen. She worked in the garment industry until retirement.
Anna is survived by brother Frank Stipkovits of Milltown, N.J. and sister Margaret Banko of Catasauqua, PA; daughter Patricia A. Butz of Whitehall, PA, son Thomas and wife Susan of Catasauqua, PA and daughter Christine Fernandez of Plant City, FL; grandchildren Lauren Koenck wife of C.J., and Brian Butz; greatgrandchildren, Hank, and Bobby Koenck. She was predeceased by brothers, Charles and Ludwig and sisters, Mary, Rose, and Theresa.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 09:30-10:30 a.m. at. St. Peter’s R.C. Church in Coplay, PA. A mass of Christian burial officiated by Monsignor James will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment to be held at St. Peter R.C.C. Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to St. Peter’s R.C. Church in Coplay or Lehigh Valley Hospice – Allentown c/o the funeral home.
