Obituary for Anna R. Dickman
Anna R. Dickman, 89, of Coplay, passed away March 1, 2022 at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank C. Dickman, whom she was married to for 67 years before his passing in February of 2019. Born in Lansford, she was the daughter of the late August and Pauline (Skrovanek) Stanko.
Anna was a graduate of Lansford High School and Franklin School of Science and Arts in Philadelphia. She worked as a medical secretary and X-ray technician before her retirement. Anna was also a member of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church of Coplay.
Anna devoted her life to being the best wife, mother, and friend that she could be. Despite any challenges she had, she always put others first and was always more interested in unselfishly listening, helping people through their problems, and being there for them. She would do anything that anyone asked of her, without reservation. With all that she faced, Anna never gave up, and kept striving to do her best in life, serving God and helping others.
Anna will be lovingly remembered and survived by daughter, Maryrose (Scott) Farquhar of Palmerton, their son Frank K. (companion Deb) of New Tripoli, and four grandchildren Gina, Jade, Logan and Aiden. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her infant son Russell A and four siblings.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., Coplay is entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Peter's Church, Coplay.
