Obituary for Anne M. Shimko
Anne M. Shimko, 76 of Allentown, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at Manor Care in Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, Anne was the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Opat) Myirski. She was an attendant at the former Electric Laundry in Bethlehem. Previously, she worked for the former Fairtex Mills and she also was a waitress at the Golden Gate Diner. She is survived by her loving family of Daughters - Roseann Shipper of Allentown and Linda McComsey of Boca Raton, Florida. Brothers Joseph of Bath, Stephen and Edward both of Bethlehem and a sister, Agnes McGramn of Telford. There are four Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Patricia Ann Paine, sisters Mary and Margaret and brother Andrew. Services: Private. The John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua is in charge of arrangements. Contributions: The family requests that contributions in Anne's memory be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley, 2045 Harvest Way, Allentown, PA 18104.
