Anthony F. Bodisch, 81, of Catasauqua passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, January 17, 2025. Born in West Catasauqua, he was the son of the late John A. Bodisch and Anna K. (Koval) Bodisch. He was the husband of Cathy A. (Roberts) Bodisch with whom he would have shared 25 years this June.
Anthony was a 1962 graduate of Coplay High School. He was a 1964 graduate of Humboldt School of Business at the University of Minnesota. In 1965, he served honorably for 2 years in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.
He was co-owner with his wife Cathy in their business as Business Manager at Cathy’s Creative Catering & Café. Prior to the catering business, Anthony was Vice President in Branch Management for the former First Valley Bank for 32 years in both Florida and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Anthony loved nature and all seasons. He was a firm believer that one should learn from the challenging times and live for the good times or “the smile on your face will vanish.”
During his free time, he was an avid skier, golfer, traveler, and loved fishing, biking, and long-distance running. Above all, he loved his family and friends and did things ‘his way.’ Anthony will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife Cathy, his brother Raymond Bodisch and wife Marge, nephews Dennis Matika and wife Deb, Gary Matika and wife Barb, Bill Bodish and wife Lori and niece Audrey Ann and husband Dan. He was predeceased by his brothers William and John and sister Lillian.
