Obituary for Arthur A. Lichtenwalner
Arthur A.“Artie” Lichtenwalner Jr.,61 years of Walnutport died Friday, February 18, 2011. He was the son of the late Arthur A. Lichtenwalner, Sr. and survived by his mother Margaret L. (Stauffer) Lichtenwalner. Artie was a veteran serving during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Korea and trained in Fort Dicks, NJ. He loved spending his time outdoors hunting and fishing. Surviving with his mother is his son Shawn Lichtenwalner, Artie’s wife Chereen (Kauffman) Lichtenwalner, his siblings Darlene (Lichtenwalner) George, Ronald, Sr. and his wife Janet Lichtenwalner, and Preston Sr. husband to Pam Lichtenwalner. He was loved by his huge family which included his 9 nephews, Wayne Jr., Damon, Preston Jr., Jesse, Nathan, Micah, Ronald Jr., Kyle and Tobey and 6 nieces, Deanna, Stefanie, Danica, Krissy, Kimberly and Vicki. Artie was also preceded in death by his father, Arthur A. Lichtenwalner Sr., his sister Barbara Lichtenwalner and his brothers Stanley Lichtenwalner and Larry Lichtenwalner and his nephews Jay and Craig Lichtenwalner. Remember “I” before “E” except in Bud-Weis-er. A gathering of family and friends will be will held at his mother’s home at 3042 So. Pike Ave., Allentown, PA 18103 on Thursday February 24, 2011 at 2:00 pm to 3:00 p.m. for the immediate family and a public open house beginning at 3:00pm. The Brubaker Funeral Home of Catasauqua is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given in his name payable to the Ranger Rod and Gun Club 2450 Quarry Street Coplay, Pa. 18037.
