Obituary for August L. Ballas
August L. "Augie" Ballas, 76, of Coplay, passed away August 8, 2014 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was married to Dorothy A. (Matika) Ballas for 54 years. Born in Whitehall, he was the son of the late August and Anna (Marks) Ballas. He was a building products salesman for the former Keystone Building Products, Allentown for 25 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Whitehall. Survivors: Wife, brothers, Eugene and his wife, Loretta of Walnutport, Kenneth and his wife, Theresa of New Ringgold, Phillip and his wife, Jan of TN; sister, Annette White of Allentown; sister-in-law, Veronica Madea of Whitehall; brother-in-law, Michael and his wife, JoAnn of Coplay; nieces, Michelle, Denise, Melissa, Jessica, Corinna, Dani, Monique, Christina, Diana; nephews, Rodney, Eric, Dean, Don, Darren, Jayson, Paul, Keith; canine companion, Jolee. Service: 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2014, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m., Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Whitehall.
