Obituary for Avard "Moe" W. Moser
Avard "Moe" W. Moser, 62, of Northampton, died Friday July 24th, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospice House in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Tessie (Shumack) Moser. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Abner J. and Mary L. (House) Moser.
Avard worked in the coke ovens at Bethlehem Steel for many years. Most recently he was a groundskeeper for the Lehigh Country Club. 'Moe' enjoyed fishing, camping and archery. He loved model trains and was an assistant baseball coach. Avard was a 1973 Whitehall High School Graduate.
Surviving along with his wife Tessie are his children Harry Moser; Ryan Davies and girlfriend Jess Dittrich; Wendy Shoop and boyfriend Jake Leauber; brothers Phillip and wife Cindy Moser; John and wife Jessie Ann Moser; step-sisters Barbara Hesselberger of St. Louis, MO. and Phyllis and Philip Gaffney of Florisant, MO.; grandchildren Shane, Dakota, Wyatt, Cheyenne, Devon, Haley, Scarlett; great granddaughter Lily and nieces and nephews.
