Obituary for Barbara A Schmall
Barbara A. Schmall, 81 years, of Coplay, passed away on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospice in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Carl Schmall. Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Anna (Karoly) Taniser.
Barbara was a member of Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Northampton. A graduate of Central Catholic High School in Allentown, she was a bookkeeper in the Lehigh Valley for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Coplay Lioness Club and enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys and doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include sons Carl and his wife Michelle of Whitehall, Jeff of Northampton, Alan and his wife Chris of Northampton, and Charles of Northampton, daughters Karen Peters of Coplay and Debra, wife of Dale Knecht of Northampton, 11 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters and a great grandson on the way.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Monday March 19th, 2018 at Brubaker Funeral Home Inc. 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037, formerly Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home. A viewing will be held from 9-10:30am on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
