Obituary for Barbara D. Deifer
Barbara Dorothy Deifer, 54, of Danielsville died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of Robert D. Deifer. Born in Bethpage, Long Island she was the daughter of Richard Hart and the late Vera (Seidl) Hart. Barbara was the founder and proprietor of Edgemont Park Antiques of Walnutport. Prior to that she was an elementary teacher for Mountainview School District in Ontario, CA where she taught computers. She enjoyed working and spending time with children. She was a past president of the PTA and also a girl scout leader. She had a Bachelor of Arts from Chaffey Community College. She was a talented painter, photographer, poet and musician. She also loved camping and the outdoors. Barbara attended and was married in St. John’s U.C.C. – Mickleys. Surviving are her sons Michael Jeremy Razzano of California, John Justin Razzano of Slatington. Stepson Matthew Barry Deifer of Philadelphia. Daughter Jessica Aubrey Razzano of California. Stepdaughter Lynda Kay Deifer of Slatington. Brother, Robert Hart of NC., four grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday January 31, 2009 at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, PA 18032. Call 10:00am until 11:00am Saturday in the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, 5100 Tilghman Street, Allentown, PA 18104.
