Obituary for Barbara J. Kneller
Barbara J. Kneller, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday January 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Charles P. Kneller. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Charlotte (Hunt) Harte.
Barbara was a graduate of Allen High School and was a member of the former St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church in North Catasauqua. She attended cosmetology school and worked as a beautician before having children. Barbara then devoted her life to her family and to raising her children. Lovingly known as “the paparazzi” and “the original dance party”, Barbara was happiest with a disposable camera in hand and dancing to Elvis, Chubby Checker or the Beach Boys. She loved reading mystery books and days on the beach.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Denise M. Kneller, Joan E. Kneller, Tracie Sullivan and husband Michael; son, Robert G. Kneller and wife Tracy; grandchildren; Rachael Pietkiewicz, Rena Kelly and husband Dakota, Gavin, Ava and Abigail Kneller, great grandson, Knoxxen. She was predeceased by her son Paul C. Kneller.
A calling period will take place on Monday, January 8, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, PA. 18032. A funeral service officiated by Deacon Michael Doncsecz to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the parlor. Interment to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in North Catasauqua.
