Obituary for Barry A. Deifer
Barry A. Deifer, 66, of Coplay, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Muhlenberg Campus. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Raymond W. and Virginia (Hock) Deifer.
Barry was a 1974 graduate of Whitehall High School and worked for many years at Mack Trucks in Allentown. He was a trustee for the West Catty Firehall. Barry had a passion for music and was an accomplished guitar player who played in several bands during his lifetime. He was also a great athlete who especially loved to play baseball. Above all, Barry loved his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Barry is survived by brothers, Donald Deifer and wife, Shirley of N.C., and Gerald Deifer and wife, Jenny of Coplay. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Ronald, Richard, and Robert.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. A viewing will be held from 10- 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Arlington Memorial Park in Whitehall.
