Obituary for Benjamin Paul Hadley
Benjamin Paul Hadley, 29 years of N. Catasauqua, PA died Saturday November 23, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg, Bethlehem, PA. He was the fiancé of Samantha L. DeBlanco. He was born in Hillsboro, and lived in Forest Grove and then Portland, OR. before moving to Pennsylvania to pursue his career in nursing. Benjamin just finished his Registered Nurse Associate Degree at LCCC. He was employed by Bayada of Allentown as a Home Health Aide. He grew up in Forest Grove, OR. and graduated from Forest Grove High School. He was a talented artist, writer and musician, playing a variety of musical instruments. He also enjoyed rugby and fishing. Benjamin had a unique dry sense of humor, a gentle heart and an infectious smile. He was well loved and made many friends wherever he went. Surviving are his mother Janis Lyn Brickey and fiancé Tom Hurst; father G. David Hadley and wife Cindy; brother Isaac Hadley; step-sister Tabitha Drago; step-brother Tim Gehrig; aunt Judy and husband Dick Kaphammer; uncle Randy Kerkman and wife Sandy; uncle Rick Kerkman and wife Diane; uncle John Hadley; uncle Paul and wife Debbie Hadley; cousins Matthew Hadley, Rebecca and husband Darin Miller, Francis Bomgardner, Timothy Kerkman, Sandra and husband John Norkeveck, Melissa and husband Barry Moon-Suit and the DeBlanco family. He is preceded in death by 5 grandparents, 2 aunts and one cousin. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
