Obituary for Bernadine A. Unger
Bernadine A. Unger, 77, of Whitehall, passed away June 14 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Allentown. She was married to John J. "Sonny" Unger for 61 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Kapinsky) Hodge. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay and its Altar and Rosary Society. Survivors: Husband, daughter, Cheryl wife of Richard Lychak, sons, John Jr. and his wife Donna of Slatington, Michael and his wife Erika of Slatington; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sisters, Rose Shelak, Agnes Altif, a brother, James Hodge. Friends and family may call 9-10:00 a.m., Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
