Obituary for Bernadine H. Meitzler
Bernadine H. Meitzler, 71 years, of Bethlehem died Monday March 19, 2007 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Muhlenberg. She was the wife of Erwin “Lew” Meitzler and celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary September 7, 2006. Born in Catasauqua on March 12th, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Mary (Kacsur) Janscak. Bernadine operated her own beauty salon for many years and was previously employed by Cardiology Associates of Allentown in the billing department. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with her loving family. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church of Bethlehem. She was a loving wife and devoted Mother and Grandmother. She will be sadly missed and remembered always by her family. Surviving with her husband are; Daughter - Kathryn, wife of Timothy Tinsley and grandson Tyler of Nazareth. Son - Mark L. Meitzler of Bethlehem. Sister - Dorothy Janscak of Catasauqua. Brother - Joseph Janscak of Allentown. She was preceded in death by her sister Anna and two brothers Edward and Albert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am Saturday March 24th 2007 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Second and Union Streets Catasauqua. Call 7:00pm until 8:30pm Friday and 8:30am until 9:30am Saturday in the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua.
