Obituaries
Bernie worked as a Quality Inspector for the Phoenix Forge and previously worked for the Eaton Corp. and Chain Bike. He served
his country during the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Catasauqua American Legion Post # 215.
Surviving are daughters Molly Dougherty, Caitlin wife of Christopher Wellington, sister Ruthi Dougherty Stanley, Nancy Pesarcik and her husband William, Christine Andrees wife of Andrew, Deborah Bauer and her husband Richard, and Sandy Steverson. Four grandchildren Adyn and Christopher Jr. and Amani and Carrera and his step mother Marilyn Dougherty and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Fred Becker, sisters Diane Becker and Mary Dougherty.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday in St. John Fisher Catholic Church 1229 Third Street N. Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 9:30 am until 10:30am Friday in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032.
