Obituary for Betty J. Good
Betty J. Good, 80 years of Whitehall died September 29, 2016 in St. Luke’s Hospice, Black River Road, Bethlehem. Born in West Catasauqua she was the daughter of the late George and Sallie (Frederick) Arey. She was the wife of the late Clifford Good.
Betty was a member of the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church of Whitehall and previously a member of St. John’s U.C.C. of Whitehall. She had worked in sales for Kohl’s Department Store before retiring. Prior to that she worked for Hess’s Department Store in Whitehall. Betty Loved country music, shopping and going to the casinos.
Surviving are daughters Joanne Miller, Jane Hagerman wife of Rick, Judy Mushlitz wife of Walter, son Joe Ziegler husband of Diane, sisters Sally Fink and June Stettler and brothers Raymond, Calvin, Elwood and Robert. Betty has 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be lead by the Rev. Michael J. Bodnyk at 11:00am Tuesday October 4, 2016 in Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church 3355 MacArthur Road Whitehall, Pa. 18052. Her viewing will be 10:00am until 11:00am Tuesday in the church. The Brubaker Funeral Home of Catasauqua is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made payable to the St. Luke’s Hospice c/o of the Brubaker Funeral Home 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032.
