Obituary for Betty J. Trinkle
Betty J. Trinkle, 96 years formerly of Catasauqua and N.Catasauqua entered into eternal life surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Tuesday April 8, 2008 in Cedarbrook Annex in Fountain Hill. She was a widow of the late Frank L. Trinkle. Born in Hazard, Pa. she was a daughter of the late James E. and Ella (Remaley) Walck. Betty was employed as a waitress in various restaurants before retiring and previously she worked in silk mills in the Lehigh Valley. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Catasauqua where she was active in the Happy Hour Group and a caller for bingo in the Mardi Gras celebration. She was a life member of the Hokendauqua American Legion. Surviving is a son, Frank S. husband of Lee Trinkle, daughters, Carolee Patterson, Joann, wife of Al Lotti and Betty wife of Edward Miller. She has 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by a sister Sallie Walck Heil. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday in Salem United Church of Christ 615 Third Street Catasauqua 18032. Call 10:00am until 11:00am in the church. Memorial contributions may be given to the church. The John H. Brubaker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
