Obituary for Betty Jane Ferry
Betty Jane Ferry, 78 years of Catasauqua died Friday April 10, 2009 in her residence. Born in Catasauqua she was the daughter of the late William and Viola (Miltenberger) Kern. Betty worked as a clean room operator for Lucent Technologies of Allentown for many years before retiring. She was very dedicated to her family including daughters Carol wife of Herman Williams, Marsha wife of Taw Wingfield, Leanne Haldeman and companion Gary Olewine, son Ernest Ferry Jr., sister Mabel wife of Jay Scheirer and Betty’s companion Roger Knauss. Betty loved being with her eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and her great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday April 15 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 10:00am until 11:00am Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to St. John’s United Church of Christ Howertown, 22 Atlas Road Northampton, Pa. 18067.
