Obituary for Betty L. "Reds" Nonnemacher
Betty L. “Reds” Nonnemacher, 88 years, formerly of W. Catasauqua, passed away Thursday, January 4th, 2018 at Easton Garden of Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Clarence W. Nonnemacher. Born in W. Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late John Schubert and Lillian (Kline) Snyder.
Betty was a member of St. John’s U.C.C. in Whitehall. She was employed by various silk mills in the Lehigh Valley and the former Smith Candy Co. in Catasauqua. She enjoyed polka dancing at the Saengerbund.
Survivors include her son Dennis and his wife Kristina, a daughter Lori, wife of William Serra, a sister June Schlofer, grandchildren Tammie Nonnemacher, Dennis Nonnemacher II and Riley Serra, and great grandchildren Colby, Kylie, and Hunter.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday January 9th, 2018 at Brubaker Funeral Home Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. Her viewing will from 7-8:30pm Monday and 10-11am Tuesday in the funeral home.
