Obituary for Carl L. Deiter
Carl L. Deiter, 83, of Coplay, passed away May 31, 2015. He was married to Anna M. (Stipkovits) Deiter for 62 years. Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Harold and Ida (Michael) Deiter. He retired from the former Trojan Powder Co., Orefield after 40 years of service. A lifetime member of the American Legion Post #426, Coplay, he was an army corporal during the Korean War. Survivors: Wife, children, Patricia A. Butz of East Texas, PA, Thomas and his wife, Susan of North Catasauqua, PA, Christine Fernandez of Plant City, FL; grandchildren, Lauren and Brian Butz. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Albert and Edwin Deiter. Services: Noon, Wednesday, June 3, 2015, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037 with the Rev. Carey Miller, officiating. Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment, St. Peter's Cemetery, Whitehall Twp. Memorial Contributions: To St. Jude Children's Hospital c/o the funeral home.
