She was the loving wife of Roberto Franco with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage this past February.
Born in Bogota, Colombia, she was a daughter of Ramon A. Galindo and Emma Diaz.
Carmen’s goal in life was to see her family succeed in all their endeavors. She migrated from Colombia to Pennsylvania to see that her family had a good life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was a faithful Catholic and taught her children to be independent. She was loving, humble, smart, caring and had a love of birds and animals. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and cooking great meals.
Survivors along with her husband Roberto are sons, Roberto Franco Jr., Jorge E. Franco; daughters, Martha and husband Edgar Hernandez, Blanca Franco, and husband Edgardo Ortiz; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily, Leonardo, Jorge A., Gina, Marcela, Jenny, Melissa, Andrea and Oliverio; great grandchildren, Tylisa, Noah, Gabriela, and Nathaniel, siblings, Luis, Divaluz, Lazaro, Jesus, Laura, and Cristina as well as many nieces and nephews.
A calling period will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 5:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Coplay 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, PA. 18037. Funeral to follow at 6:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made out directly to the funeral home (via check, cash or credit card) to Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, PA. 18037 to defray funeral costs.

Carmen S. De Franco, de 82 años de Northampton, falleció pacÃficamente en Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg el 27 de agosto de 2021. Era la amada esposa de Roberto Franco con quien celebró 63 años de matrimonio el pasado febrero.
Nacida en Bogotá, Colombia, era hija de Ramón A. Galindo y Emma DÃaz.
El objetivo de Carmen en la vida era que su familia tuviera éxito en todos sus esfuerzos. Ella emigró de Colombia a Pensilvania para ver que su familia tuviera una buena vida. Todos los que la conocieron y amaron la extrañarán.
Ella era una católica fiel y enseñó a sus hijos a ser independientes. Ella era cariñosa, humilde, inteligente, cariñosa y le encantaban las aves y los animales. Disfrutaba cuidando a sus nietos y cocinando excelentes comidas.
Los sobrevivientes junto con su esposo Roberto son los hijos, Roberto Franco Jr., Jorge E. Franco; hijas Martha y esposo Edgar Hernandez, Blanca Franco y esposo Edgardo Ortiz; nietos, Elizabeth, Emily, Leonardo, Jorge A., Gina, Marcela, Jenny, Melissa, Andrea y Oliverio; bisnietos, Tylisa, Noah, Gabriela y Nathaniel, hermanos, Luis, Divaluz, Lázaro, Jesús, Laura y Cristina, asà como muchas sobrinas y sobrinos.
Se llevará a cabo un perÃodo de convocatoria el miércoles 1 de septiembre de 2021, a partir de las 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. en Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. de Coplay 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, PA. 18037. El funeral seguirá a las 6:00 P.M.
