Carole Rose DeMaio, 82 years of Bethlehem died Monday, June 1, 2026, at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill. Born in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late Victor and Rose Amato.
She was the devoted wife of Ronald V. DeMaio, Sr. with whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage prior to his passing in February of 2017.
She was a kind and loving person who will be loved and missed by all.
Surviving are sons Ron V. DeMaio Jr. and husband Ken Shutter, David and his wife Debbie DeMaio, daughter Maria DeMaio fiancé of Joey Krenos, sister Judy Amato and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Dr. Wayne Amato.
A calling period will be held on Thursday, June 4th from 10-11 am in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, PA. Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made directly to the Saint Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
