Catherine A. (Shimshy) Lorenz Mink, 92 years died February 22, 2017 at her home in Whitehall surrounded by her loving family. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Haraida) Shimshy. She was the wife of the late John K. Lorenz and Edward A. Mink.
Catherine was a member of St. John Fisher Church, formerly St. Lawrence Church in Catasauqua.
Surviving is her son Edward A. Mink and her daughters Susan, wife of Raymond Raysely, Ann Lorenz, and Jean, wife of Lou Wrabel. Nieces and nephews. She was preceded in deat h by her brother Theodore Shimshy and sister Dorothy Shimshy and infant daughter Catherine.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
