Obituary for Catherine "Dolly" M. Esterly
Catherine M. “Dolly” Esterly, 81 years old of Northampton, died Friday November 20, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. She was the wife of Kenneth E. Esterly of Northampton and celebrated 57 years of marriage this past May. Born in Catasauqua she was the daughter of the late John E. and Catherine (Molchany) Laudenslager.
Dolly sewed at Linden Apparel for many years before retiring. She loved to sew, cook and bake. Dolly enjoyed going to shows and musicals and playing cards with her sisters.
Surviving along with her husband Kenneth are her three sons Robert Beil, David Beil and his wife Cheryl, and Kenneth Beil; daughter Sharon, wife of Thomas J. Mondschein; sisters Marie Carl and Patricia wife of Donald Lafaw; her grandchildren Christina and Thomas Mondschein, and Eric and Katie Beil; and many nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her sister Dolores Stinner.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday November 28th, 2015 at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. There will be a calling period to greet the family from 10-11am at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association care of the funeral home.
