Obituary for Catherine R. Deppe
Catherine R. Deppe, 81 of Manor Care, formerly of Catasauqua, died Thursday November 8th, 2007 in Bethlehem. She was the widow of the late Herbert Fried, Robert Cook and most recently Vance Deppe. Born in Hellertown, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy E. (Achey) Sterner. Catherine was a member of Valley View Baptist Church in Northampton. She worked for many years as an assembly line worker for General Electric. Surviving are her son Guy, husband of Nancy Fried of Catasauqua; brothers Bob and Carl Glenn; sister Shirley Reinert of Bethlehem; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by a sister Doris Glenn. Funeral Services will be 11am Monday, November 12, 2007 at the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032. Call from 10-11am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Valley View Baptist Church, 2870 Pheasant Drive, Northampton, 18067.
