Obituary for Cecilia F. Newhall
Cecilia F. “Ceily” Newhall, 80, of Bethlehem, died peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2009 in her home. Born January 29, 1929 in Catasauqua, she was the daughter of Joseph Deutsch and Elizabeth (Bekowitz) Deutsch. She was retired from B. Braun. Cecilia was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother. She is of the Catholic faith. Surviving are her six children; Karen Killo, Kathy Newhall and companion Steve Geiger, and Kaye Newhall all of Bethlehem, Kris Petravich and husband David of Pottsville, Kim DePoy and husband Jeff of Allentown, and Steven Newhall and wife Cheryl of Bath; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, sisters Sue and Julie; brothers Frank and William. She was predeceased in death by siblings Angela, Agnes, Mary, Theresa, Joseph, and Edward. Services will be held 12pm Monday, June 15, 2009 at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. Call from 11-12pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Alder Place, Bethlehem, PA, 18017.
