Obituary for Charles A. Souders
Charles A. Souders, 80 years of Cedarbrook County Home formerly of Allentown died Friday June 17, 2016 in Cedarbrook. He was the husband of Marlene (Erb) Souders for 58 years on June 14, 2016. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Charles and Mildred (Snell) Souders.
He retired in 2007 as a Sales Manager for Bennett Toyota after 40 years of service, and then worked part time for Rothrock Auto Sales.
He is a member of Greenawalds United Chrch of Christ, a lifetime member of Hogans, Fearless Fire Co., Woodlawn Fire Co., American Legion #576, Jordan A.C. and Cross Keys. He loved to ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles and will be missed by his riding family and friends.
Surviving with his wife are son Charles A. Souders Jr. of Allentown, daughter Carol Smith, brothers, Barry Souders and his wife Maryjo of Allentown, Robert Souders of Lansford, sister Sandra Moser and husband Doug of Lehighton, grandson Zachary, half-sister Virginia Beck, brother in law Frank Fisher and sister in law Darlene Souders. He was preceded in death by his sister LaVaun Fisher and brother Marvin “Mike” Souders.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
