Obituary for Charles Nush
Charles Nush, 91, of Whitehall, died March 10, 2014 at his residence. He was married to Lillian (Bosh) Nush for 62 years. Born in Ormrod, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Catherine (Borsuk) Nush. He was a maintenance helper for the former Trojan Powder Co., S.Whitehall Township and was previously employed by Bethlehem Steel Corporation and Lehigh Portland Cement. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton. A member of th VFW #7293, Egypt, he was a naval veteran of WWII. He was a member of the BVM Young at Heart Group, Northampton and a member of the former Whitehall Senior Citizens and Northampton Retired Men's Club. Survivors: Wife, daughters, Patricia wife of Larry Hilbert of Whitehall, Kathleen Christman of Whitehall, grandchildren, Charlene and Brandon; sister, Mary Lenner; brother, Andrew. Services: 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m., St. John the Baptist Church, Northampton. Viewing from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Friday in the funeral home. Interment, parish cemetery, Northampton. Contributions: In lieu of flowers to the church c/o the funeral home 18037.
