Obituary for Charles W. "Butch" Parker
Charles W. “Butch” Parker, 81 years of Whitehall died Saturday December 15, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Twsp. He was the husband of 61 years to Mildred C. (Deily) Parker of Whitehall. Born in Stiles, Pa. he was the son of the late Charles G. and Theresa (Duld) Parker. His greatest joy was his family and especially his great grandchildren. Surviving with his wife Mildred is daughter Gail wife of Richard Kramlich of Allentown, granddaughters Amber Scavo and Bethany Post, great grandchildren Carter, Julia, Anderson, Brooke, Zachary and many cousins. Charles was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Catasauqua. He retired from the Coca Cola Bottling Co. after 38 years of service and then worked for the Emmaus Auto Parts. Previously he was employed by Kraft Foods and the Vale Chemical Co. Butch was a volunteer with the Fullerton Fire Company serving as fire truck driver, cooking at breakfasts and events and as a president. He loved golfing, fishing and watching the Phillies and Eagles. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday December 21, 2012 in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 417 Howertown Road Catasauqua. Call 10:00am until 11:00am in the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name payable to Cure Search for Children’s Cancer c/o of the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032.
