Obituary for Claire Alesick
Claire Alesick, 87 years, of Hokendauqua, died Friday April 22, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of the late Stephen G. “Jack” Alesick. Born in Beaver Brooke she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Frey) Hinkle.
Claire was well known and loved as a school crossing guard, where she worked for many years at 2nd and Lehigh Street in Hokendauqua,
Claire loved spending time with her family and will be missed by her four daughters Joan Alesick of Whitehall, Mary Ann Piller of Catasauqua, Stephanie Brinker of Whitehall, Cheryl Walker of Allentown; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Claire is survived by nieces, nephews and several step siblings. She was preceded in death by her brother and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday April 27 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, 18032. Her viewing will be from 10:00am until 11:00am Wednesday. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.brubakerfuneralhome.com.
