Obituary for Corradina "Clara" Edmonds
Corradina “Clara” Edmonds, 86, of Catasauqua, died Saturday, November 3rd, 2012. She was the wife James C. Edmonds, Sr. of Catasauqua and celebrated 67 years of marriage together this year. Born in New York City she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo D. and Francesca (Spadaro) DiStefano. Clara was a long time member of St. Mary’s Church of the Annunciation B.V.M. of Catasauqua. She was a seamstress, sample maker and a former chair lady of the I.L.G.W. Union Surviving with her husband James is her daughter Carol A. Ravel and her fiancée George W. Quay of Royersford, Pa. son James C. Edmonds Jr. and his wife Donna of Allentown, sister Raffaela Palyo of Flushing, NY., brothers Mario DiStefano of New York City, Salvatore DiStefano of Courtland, NY and three grandchildren Dr. Amy R. Guerette of Tallahasse, FL , Joshua J. Edmonds of Allentown, PA and Dina F. Ravel of Chicago, IL. Clara was preceded in death by her brother Pasquale DiStefano. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Tuesday November 6, 2012 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Second and Union Streets Catasauqua. Call 11:00am until 12:00 noon in the St. Mary’s Church narthex.
