Obituary for Dale A. Heiney
Dale A. Heiney, 74, passed away at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg on April 7, 2025.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Donald and Pauline (Jacobs) Heiney.
He was the husband of the late LaRue A. Heiney with whom he shared 49 years of marriage before her passing in 2022.
Dale served honorably in the US Navy during Vietnam from ’69 - ‘71, working on the U.S.S Hunley as a diesel mechanic. He continued his service with the Navy Reserves until 1975. Dale was a member of St. John UCC- Mickley’s church in Whitehall. He was employed for 31 years at Stanley Vidmar and drove tractor trailer for ten years.
He is survived by his sons Stanley W. Geisinger and wife Jamie, Donald D. Heiney and wife Theresa; grandchildren; Samantha, Ashley, Andrew, Lorrell and Drake; great grandchildren; Ryan, Cali, Mia, Ava, Asher, Eli, Samantha and Maddox and great great granddaughter Kinslee Mae Geisinger and his brother and sister. He was predeceased by his son Darryl Lee Heiney and great grandson Noah.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made directly to the church - St John's U.C.C. - Mickley’s, 2918 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall Township, PA. 18052.
