Obituary for Daniel Leo Lynch
Daniel Leo Lynch, 92 years, of Ormrod died Saturday December 2, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Margaret Ann (Kolvalchick Lynch. Born in Catasauqua he was the son of the late William and Alice Lynch.
Dan was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church of N. Catasauqua and a Navy Veteran of WWII. He had worked as research Chemist for Lehigh Portland Cement and Penn Dixie Cement for many years before retiring. He then worked for the Parkland School District as a Head Custodian of the Parkway Manor School. He loved taking care of his pool and being a life guard for his grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters Rose Christman and Margie wife of John Bednar, two sons Daniel T. Lynch and Joseph and his wife Kathleen Lynch and a sister Catherine wife of Frances Pirog. Dan has 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Services will be 10:00 am Thursday in St. John Fisher Catholic Church 1229 Third Street N. Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 8:30 am until 9:30 am Thursday and 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm Wednesday in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032.
