Obituaries
Darlene A. Hale, 78, of Allentown, formerly of Catasauqua and Emmaus, died with family by her side, Saturday November 11, 2023, at the Lehigh Valley In-Patient Hospice Unit in Allentown. She was the loving wife of John C. Hale and celebrated 56 years of marriage together this past September. Born in Emmaus she was a daughter of the late David and Margaret A. (Wessner) Keiser.
Darlene was an Emmaus High School graduate. She loved spending time fishing and having clambakes at their house in Ocean City, MD. Above all she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and dedicated her life to supporting her children and grandchildren in all they did.
Surviving along with her husband John are her son Jeff A. Hale and wife Tammy S. of Bethlehem; granddaughters, Hannah and Emma Hale; and her close family friends, Linda Hausman and husband Andrew and her children, Ryan and Jacob; Paula Bond and her children, Eric and Evan, and Mabel Hagstrand. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Ann Hale and brothers James and Clarence Keiser.
Her viewing will be from 10-11am Thursday November 16, 2023 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. A funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery in Allentown.
